"What a weird dream I saw..." It was my first thought what came to my head when I opened my eyes. I shook my head and slowly sat on the bed.
"Joshua?" I called my boyfriend, but anyone didn't answer me.
I stood up and went to the bathroom. "Hmm... Probably he went for a walk." I thought again getting in the shower cabin. After I had breakfast and sat at the computer to read the news and just surf in the Internet.

Internet is the most magical invention of humans on those days not only because you can find almost any information on it, but also because it makes you to forget time. However, I really needed it. You know yourselves how it is when woeful dream starts persecute you from the early morning... So I even didn't notice how one or two hours passed. I returned to reality only when I heard Joshua's steps.
"Josh!" I rejoiced rising to my feet.
"Morning, baby!"
"It's already not a morning, it's a day..." I smiled coming to Joshua and embraced him. "I missed you... Did you go for a walk?"

"Yes, baby... I woke up early and went for a walk. The morning was very nice..."
I smiled and kissed him.
"Great. But you missed your breakfast..."
"Great. But you missed your breakfast..."
"Well... I bought a coffee-to go and a hamburger with ham, so I'm not hungry..." Joshua winked at me.
"Did you have money?"
"Yes, baby... I still had 100 Simoleons."
"OK..."
"Better let's dance monkey dance!"
I laughed. We bumped our hips and started to jump around the room imitating the monkeys and making weird funny sounds.

"Shit..." Suddenly Joshua grabbed by his neck. "Ouch!"
"What's wrong, baby?"
"I don't know... My neck hurts. It seems as if someone tried to screw my neck down. That's why I woke up so early today."
"What's wrong, baby?"
"I don't know... My neck hurts. It seems as if someone tried to screw my neck down. That's why I woke up so early today."
And then I saw two little holes on Joshua's neck. I think my facial expression changed in astonishment, because Joshua asked me:
"What's wrong?"
"I think it's like some... illness..." I touched those two holes on his neck carefully. "You have two small holes there... Did you see them, baby?"
"Yes..." He nodded. "No idea what shit I've got... Isn't it weird, baby?"
"Yes, a bit..." I smiled and caressed his cheek wanting to comfort him. "But let's hope it will pass... If not then we'll go to doctor tomorrow."
Joshua closed his eyes and rubbed his cheek into my hand.

"What I'd do without you?" Joshua wrapped his arms around my neck.
"You'd live somehow different than now..." I smiled caressing his back.
"No... I don't want to live without you, Lucien..."
"Me too..."
"You'd live somehow different than now..." I smiled caressing his back.
"No... I don't want to live without you, Lucien..."
"Me too..."
"You'll not go with me and Dexter to swim in the pool I guess, baby..." I looked carefully at Joshua's eyes.
"No..." He shook his head. "I'll go to take a nap. Maybe it will help me to feel better. And you two have a good time..."
"OK... Rest well..." I kissed my boyfriend and went to take my swimwear.

The weather was wonderful outside. I and Dexter spent most of our time swimming.
I was still haunted by thoughts about the weird looking holes on Joshua's neck. And my dream... All seemed so weird to me and made me worried, I really wanted to talk to someone about it and hear that it's just some virus and it will pass soon. Dexter's great guy, I liked him and I felt that I can trust him, he'll not think I'm crazy who has too rich imagination. However, it even wasn't needed as Dexter asked me himself about my boyfriend:
"Where is Joshua?"
"He feels not very well and stayed at home."
"Oh... What has happened? Has he got flu?"
"No. It''s really weird, Dexter. I even don't know how to say."
"What's that?" I've noticed how Dexter's facial expression has changed even if he was with the sunglasses. He was wondering what happened to my boyfriend.
"Well..." I started slowly to tell. "He has two weird small holes on his neck and it horribly hurts..."
Dexter was silent for a while.
"Huh... It's really weird... Do you believe in vampires, Lucien?" He smiled.
"What are vampires?"
"You don't know who are vampires?! Didn't you read any book about the vampires?!" he was surprised. "And even about Dracula or Lestat?! They are most popular vampires in the world, man!"
I felt confused.
"What they do?"
"Oh, my Goth, Lucien!" Dexter laughed and splashed me. "They are the night world creatures and drink blood! They are very charming and scary! Boo!" He made scary face and splashed me again.
"Hey!" I chuckled and splashed him back. "So... They are some folklore?"
"Yes... You can say so... Almost all goths would like to be vampires and sleep in the coffins! My one friend has a coffin at his bedroom and it serves him like a bed, ha ha ha!" Dexter laughed. "He told me that once he made love to some girl there and suddenly the cover of coffin fell on his back! Ha ha ha! Can you imagine?! He said he almost wet himself in the scare!"
"Oh, no!" I laughed. "They could die in fear!"
"Indeed! But luckily it didn't happen and he's still alive, I hope that girl is alive, too," Dexter chuckled. "So..." He turned his face to me. 'What do you think about this yourself, Lucien?"
"I don't know, Dexter..." I shrugged. "It's... It's just really weird. If it will not pass we'll go to doctor."
"Let's hope it will pass... But it sounds like from some book about vampires. Really, man!" Dexter nodded assuring me with a smile on his face. "They leave such holes on the necks..."
"Bullshit!" I chuckled waving aside."If it's folklore it can't be reality, Dexter!"
"Maybe... But pay your attention, Lucien! Long time ago many fiction genre writers wrote about what is reality now! So neither I nor you can't know what is really truth!"
I looked carefully at Dexter. I had to admit that he can be right. Humans wrote about us, humanoids from other galaxies and their science is interested in us and have many hypothesis about us and our civilizations. Dexter even didn't know that I am one of them...

The silence stood for a while.
"Hmm.. Would you like to make a few jumps?" I offered Dexter.
"Yes... I'll join you later, Lucien... The nature calls me," he grinned and pointed to WC.
"OK..." I chuckled.
"Be right back", Dexter winked at me under his sunglasses and swam towards pool ladder.
I also got out from the water and went towards the springboard.
"So where is the truth?" I thought climbing up. "If there are other civilizations then why vampires can't exist, no matter how inconvincible it sounds?"
