The time went very slow, every hour I peeked into my phone expecting to see a message for Joshua, but it still wasn't. Except for one message. It was from Dexter.
Okay. You want to go back to Joshua or you're back to him. I will survive it. Although I don't understand why you ignore me. Just because of what you've seen yesterday at the club? But you wanted us to cool down yourself and we did it, so I don't think it should hurt you. Moreover, Joshua is more important to you than me. So... Whatever it is, I still think we need to talk.
I sighed. I really wasn't ready to talk to Dexter now. But what I have to say him? That I'm almost planning my future with Joshua? It would hurt him and I guessed that he already knew about it. But honestly... I didn't want to hurt him. So if even Dexter's message annoyed me I still texted him back.
I don't ignore you! Give me time, please! I promise we will talk, OK? Trust me!
I hid my phone and sat on the bench. I was in park. It was small, but very cozy and could watch and enjoy the walking couple and playing children. I thought that I would like to have my own children someday, too. But it seemed so impossible... "I even don't know if I trust women after all what happened many years ago in Sixam," I thought remembering Deystis, Ofun and Phora in my bedroom. "Somehow I'm lucky to catch others doing something I shouldn't see and know..." I smiled bitterly. "Deystis and now Dexter... Does it mean that I'm worth nothing? And if I'm really worth nothing I would accept this fact as truth..."
Suddenly I heard how my phone started to ring. It was Joshua.
"Hi, Lucien!" Joshua's voice sounded very joyfully. "So you can congratulate me! I am already a dad!"
"Yay! Congrats, baby!" I exclaimed feeling how the sadness disappears somewhere.
"Thank you! So I'll be in Windenburg after two hours, be ready to go with me to celebrate my fatherhood!" Joshua laughed.
"Of course! I'm always ready!" I chuckled happily. "See you soon!"
"Yes... See you soon, baby..."
So my good mood was returned back. I stood up and went back to hotel.
"What would you like to eat?" I asked Joshua.
"I think some steak would be very right meal for me as I am hungry like a wolf..." He said looking at the menu. "I didn't have time when to go to buffet and drink a cup of coffee!"
"Oh... I understand!" I nodded. " So if you'll order the steak I will order it, too. And what about wine?"
"Oh, I adore wine! French, Italian or Spanish?"
"Maybe Spanish?" I smiled.
"OK, mister Garcia!" Joshua made a face making me laugh.
"So... What about your babies, daddy?" I smiled. "Do they have the names?"
"Of course... The girl was born first and after few minutes I had a boy. The girl's name is Jasmine and the boy''s Aarav."
"Aww... I'm really happy for you!" I said smiling widely.
"You'll not believe, but me too," Joshua chuckled. "When I picked them up and hugged I realized that it's just... a miracle. One more miracle what happened in my life..."
"Yes, that's a miracle..." I nodded smiling at him warmly.
"You are my miracle, too..." Joshua said me with flirty voice.
"Really?" I moved my eyebrows. "Whether you're just trying to turn me on?"
"I always do that..." Joshua winked at me. "But I prefer to wait for the night..."
"I know that tonight some underground party will happen in Ancient Ruins. We could continue our celebration there..."
"Oh, that's great!" I rejoiced. "I love parties in Windenburg!"
"Did you attend them before?" Joshua asked.
"Yes... With Dexter..." I nodded.
There were no reason to lie Joshua. He knew that I and Dexter are good friends. Sure, he didn't know more and I had to tell him, but not now. I didn't want to ruin our good mood.
"Mmm... Cool..." Joshua said.
Then a waiter came back with our dinner and wine.
"Finally!" Joshua rejoiced rubbing his hands.
I chuckled watching him. It was obvious that he's really hungry. For some time we ate silently. I was happy because Joshua was happy and at that moment my head was full of the most beautiful and positive thoughts.
When we finished our dinner I stood up and said:
"I would like to make a toast tonight."
"Aww... That's very nice!" Joshua smiled happily and stood up too.
I took my glass and raised it.
"I'd like to drink for us and our new beginning, for your kids! Let now everything be different than it was before!"
"Yes! Let now everything be different!" Joshua nodded watching me.
"I love you..." I said before kissing him.
"I love you, too..."
"Yes..." He smiled.
I embraced him again and said:
"Now I'm happy..."
"Me too..." Joshua caressed my back. "Let's pay for our dinner and let's go to party in Ancient Ruins."
"Yes, let's do that..." I nodded and waved at waiter to come to us.
